Joe the Teabagger, in Bold Move, Seeks to Repeal the 1st Amendment

Joe, you dumb fuck. It is in the Constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Here's the invitation from Joe's Facebook page. I don't see anything about Eastern German-ish goons, do you?

Are we SURE he went to Yale?
"Your friends, colleges, family"
Do ya' think maybe he meant "colleagues"??

Hm, it sure seems like a public event in a public facility, with an invitation, no less.

A sportscaster named Warner Wolf used to always say: "Roll the video tape!" I can hardly wait!

Has anyone seen his ads that he has mailed? Joe says he will stand up to Harry Reid and to the PRESIDENT! Is this how? If they don't agree with him, he will send his skinheads at them?

Well, it says right there at the bottom, "Help send Joe to DC". That explains it. Only supporters were invited.

Joe and staff, you're running for public office in the United States Senate. You'll answer any damn question we ask. Especially when you're standing in one of MY public schools, We have the RIGHT to ask. HOW you answer is up to you. The only reasonable logical strategy to uncomfortable background questions from constituents is to tell the truth and explain. Avoidance brings more questions. Do you get that, yet?
Don't like it? Don't run for PUBLIC office.
You would be OUR employee - you would work for ME. The citizens of this country would pay your salary. Don't like your bosses? Don't apply for the job!

You and Sarah and Sean...yeesh. Can any of you get it that the media is the open public forum, that citizens of every country in the world use news media as the means to information, that reporters and news agencies are also constituents?
Just go away.

Is the ACLU going to be in Anchor Point?

"Is the ACLU going to be in Anchor Point?"

Good question. Anchor Point is very near to Homer, and there will be some Homeroids there.

Miller clearly subscribes to Sarah Palin's interpretation of the 1st Amendment.

"I think it's appalling and a violation of our freedom of the press."

I can't wait to see how this story progresses.

anon @ 10:31 - I can't have any contact with the McAdams campaign, because of some stuff I'm doing with a non-candidate group. Sorry.

Soldotna Sport Center 4:30pm to 6:30pm Tuesday October 19th. I want my own security team to be there so people can ask questions. I think Norm Olson and his militia could fit right in with this aqgenda.

Miller's still on the ballot so that means he might still win. He does not seem like the sort of guy who would withdraw no matter how embarrassing he becomes. So, what happens if Alaska elects a US Senator with the kinds of "issues" Joe Miller has? Does Alaska have a recall process? Is Alaska going to end up relying on the US Senate to deal with this jackass? How is a US Senator from Alaska removed from office, or will he end up serving 6 years if elected? Especially now that he's added kidnapping, which is what his goons did when they "arrested" a journalist. (I recall a case where Target security "detained" an employee and was charged with kidnapping. ) When is someone going to FOIA Miller's military records and reveal why he was released so early and what his disability is, because from his actions he appears to be mentally unstable.

Like the saying, "Joe is standing in the gap." Between fantasy and reality? If he thinks there's a gap between truth and falsehood wide enough for him, the crunch is coming.
