i heard patti higgins and linda kellen biegel talking with carrigan about it just now on kudo. higgins doesn't have a clue about what is going on, as usual.
it was interesting to observe that mudflats only showed the real name of the proprietor for a short time on friday. and the rest of the blogosphere 'got it', and either never showed the name at all, or edited to remove it, after mudflats did. so the only alaska sites to still have it, as near as i can tell are ADN, dispatch and akdemocrats dot org. it looks pretty obnoxious on all three of them, four days later -- and it's going to start stinking soon.

Hah! thanks for posting these, Phil, but there's no such thing as the "Esther Republic". No Esthers in this village: it's The Ester Republic.
I live in another part of town, somewhat remote from the Republic of Ester, not by choice but by just falling into a house..... fortunately, the house didn't fall on me... but that's another story altogether -
As I don't have dogs, but do have kitties, my litter boxes now have little flags with Mr. Doogan's photo attached. Poor man, he didn't realize until too late that pulling something like this leaves you being nothing but cat sh**!!
