GO, Lady Seawolves!

The University of Alaska Anchorage women's basketball team will be playing in the championship game of the NCAA Division II West Regional semifinals in Seattle, this afternoon.

The Lady Seawolves are ranked Number Two in the country in Division II basketball. I'm especially excited about the tournament, because several ex- and present students of mine at UAA are on this fantastic team, including All-American prospect, Rebecca Kielpinski.

Today's regional final, against Number Five-ranked Seattle Pacific University, will start at 6:00 p.m. Alaska time. You can listen to it on KUDO AM. KUDO will also simulcast the game, which will occur on SPU's home court.

A full-length article about the yesterday's semi-final game is at the UAA Athletics site.
