Saradise Found - Chapter 15 - Palin to Speak Under Reagan's AF-1

Republican Women Federated of Simi Valley [today] announced [soon-to-be-ex Alaska Gov. Sarah] Palin was scheduled to speak to the group's private gala on Aug. 8 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California. The event - reporters will not be allowed to attend - will take place in an airplane hangar that houses a retired presidential aircraft Air Force One and will stir more questions about the curious resignation.

Whos Baby! The talibunny is no longer going to stay in AK - California is just the first stop of her "roll out" in the lower 48. Any ideas on how we can "welcome" her? Are we going to sit idly by while she spews her hate and riles up her ignorant base? The brave "Alaskans for Truth" gathered a big crowd to protest her, even in freezing temps. What do WE do to show this hate-monger the exit door?

Perhaps we could picket with signs along the lines of "Lie, baby, lie!" or "Spin, baby, spin!" "The Twit has arrived" and "Beauty is skin deep" come to mind also. How about "Faux Christian, go home?"

yes, LOVE the sign ideas! also, too: "QUITTER!" "You forgot your baby/PROP, Where's Trig?" "Go back to Wasilla, a Village is missing it's idiot." "Talibunny go home"
and a fave from the AK protest "Republican Women Against Palin"

Anon @ 10:28 pm - I'm considering deleting your comment.

I don't link to Alaska Pride, and advise other sites and media to not link to it. It is a racist site with ties to white power and neo-Nazi ideologies.

Unless you can give some context to your link, your comment will be removed at midnight.

You use to link to Alaska Pride, didn't you?

Delete my comment if you want. I just think people should know who is behind that racist, hateful site.

I've never linked to Alaska Pride. but I think I should remove the address you posted if it is connected to the identity of the site's creator or somebody who is directly involved. None of the progressive alaska bloggers are into outing people, even as strange as AKP.

"reporters will not be allowed to attend" << and yet they've given the paparazzi a full month to prepare. Personally, I read this as a challenge. I'm guessing more than one person with a youtube account is headed to Radio Shack as we speak.

I'm also guessing Ronald Reagan would be appalled at the 'behind closed doors' stance taken by the event organizers.

Wait. If there are no reporters, why on earth the queen of media bites & hype bother to show up?

Simi Valley Republican Women = Wasilla Republican Women.

Simi Valley? A joke.

Ah the Thrilla from Wasilla.

Just because she-who-must-not-be-named has escaped her frozen prison doesn't mean we can't stop trying to keep her out of our neighborhoods.

She's a dangerous person with no brains and no ideas (aside from power for her and TAHD).

She'll go on and on and on, if we let her. The object is to noisily oppose every appearance - be sure to put in earplugs though. So you don't have to listen to that illiterate scratchy voice.

Now that Alaska is getting rid of her, all of you in the lower 48 who begged us to keep her here, or who were "tired" of hearing about her and going to have to take over the battle.

Time to show her she is not wanted Outside either.

And by the way, "Lower 48" and "Outside" are not derogatory terms. If you get the chance to live in Alaska for more than a winter or two and especially if you live "in the interior" i.e. Fairbanks, you will get an intuitive feel for why these terms are so fitting.

You cannot leave Alaska except by airplane, Ferry, and the Alaska Highway. It is like living in a land locked island and the extreme Arctic cold of Fairbanks, especially when there is thick ice fog for weeks at at time definitely makes you feel "inside" something.

Anyway kiddos, have fun with our little girl. Enjoy !

Oh, and may I suggest some protest marches with lots of snarly signs, and many many many letters to editors and don't forget to ask WHY she won't allow reporters, and exactly what she thinks of issues and WHY she isn't on Meet the Press and Face The Nation.

This would be a good time to invest in Tylenol stock. The usage is going to go waaaay up down there.
