Our First Plate of 2009 Garden Strawberries

Strawberries in NC come in around the first of June. I went nuts because they are so good. I had strawberryshortcake,pie,cake, muffins,in cereal, with chocolate and champagne,strawberries and cream,and just plain. Man, they were some kind of delicious. Had everyday for at least six weeks running. Made some preserves for later.

Oh, those look so good! Squirrels have gotten every last one of ours this year. Mama ain't happy!
