2009 Copper River Dipnet Odyssey

My friend Steve and I fished together in the canyon of the Copper River today.

Fishing last week for personal use dipnetters was poor, because so much water was coming down the river. It has gone down considerably. It fell almost eight inches overnight in the canyon, and another two while Steve and I fished.

Headed out
Three hours later - Fish in a net, and on stringers in the river
Four hours later - Steve, with numbers 57 and 58
Along the way back. on the Glenn Highway, with this mountain looking almost like Gunsight Volcano, under its own weather
