Go See Occupation 101 at UAA Tomorrow

The award-winning film, Occupation 101: Voices of the Silenced Majority, will be shown at UAA Friday. Here's information from a press release by my friends at Alaskans for Palestine:

A powerful documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Israeli-Palestine conflict and U.S. government involvement. The film includes thought-provoking commentaries from a "Who's Who List" of leading Middle East scholars, peace activists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices have too often been suppressed in American media outlets.

Sponsored by Alaskans for Peace & Justice

UAA Social Science Building Room 118
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday, February 12, 2010

There will be a discussion afterward. Here's part one of the film, which is available for viewing on YouTube:

I strongly encourage people who feel they haven't been accurately informed about the history of this conflict to come see this vibrant documentary.

Too bad these pieces of fiction (like Palestine) can't be shown on nights other than the Jewish Sabbath.
I guess you are afraid someone might come and prove your garbage wrong.

Judith,

Perhaps a good point, but I've been to several events giving out truthful information about Palestinians on other nights, and seem to have missed seeing you there.

Well, Phil.
You see I don't sit around playing with my horn and writing bogus cantata's...I have a real job and at this point in time I usually don't have evenings off.
Don't worry I've been to enough of the marches, movies and protests (including Fridays) and I know...I know. *wink*

Would it do any good though for a Jew to show up and protest? Didn't you say you walked out on David Gottstein?
Hell, you told the Rabbi to sit down right?
One of these days someone will tell you to shut the fuck up and you will do it. I'll laugh.

this is a junk propaganda movie for idiots that doesn't have the vaguest clue about the politics and history of the conflict.
