Very nice observance at Ft Rich today. Don Young's spokesperson was a no show, but Shinseki and Begich spoke. At the very end, 9 of us played echo taps - thanks to Gene Horner for setting that up.
Thanks for writing about the Ft. Rich event. I took the bottom picture above in 2009, when I joined the group out there doing Echo Taps.
I played at the Mat-Su Veterans Wall of Honor early this afternoon. There were at last 350 people there. I played well. Glad to have helped honor our Veterans.
