Congratulations, Britta and Track

I've known this was in the works for a while, but didn't want to write about it. Rev. Duane Hanson, the bride's father, is one of the people in the Valley for whom I've always had the highest respect. The last time we spoke was a while ago, when he delivered the eulogy at Herbie Nayokpuk's memorial service, and I played Taps. Duane had gotten to know the Nayokpuks when he was a young minister in Shishmaref.

Good luck to the young couple.

Keep away from Sarah!

Best to the young couple.
Agree with your sage advice.
The bride's parents look like loving people.
Mazel Tov!

Oh, for one second I thought you were going to be decent...why the need to trash his daughter's inlaws? Doesn't show much respect for him.

Anonymous. There was no trashing of the in laws. Just sage advice.

Phil happens to be one of the most decent bloggers I follow..note I am not being grandiose and saying "on the internet". He is infintely fair, and true to his obvious values. I applaud him for posting this note about the bride's parents and the bride. There is no reason for good people to be dragged down because of their associations with others. Again, I applaud him for publishing this comment.

--- please explain how it is you think I trashed the Hansons. I don't feel I did.

Phil: I made the same mistake when I read this."The daughter's in laws" I THINK refer to the Palin's. It was the fact that you said to (wisely) stay away from them. The commenter was not referring to Britta's parents. (as I read it, I could be wrong) Although, in this case I could be very wrong.

As I read what you said, you were very thoughtful and respectful of the family and you call led to an update at IM, which I appreciate. Britta's family does not deserve to be dragged in to the sewer of the Palin ........#@@

Phil Munger is a coward and a sleazebag. I've seen kitty cats with more guts. This post is typical. No wonder the Alaska liberal movement is always in the minority. Keep it up Phil.

Newlyweds, move far away from Sarah if you value your family and your future.

Maybe this is a question that's been covered previously. Track spent a year or two in the Armed Forces. We have men and women who've been stop-gapped for years beyond their enlistment - who have been sent back into combat wounded both physically and mentally. So exactly how did Track get out so quickly? And he's referred to as 'studious'. What is he studying?

You're disgusting Phil. You do know that Britta had a portrait of her inlaws in her house.

Everyone loves Sarah because she's amazing. There's a reason her house is never empty and her kids friends love her.
