Spreading the word about the growing presence of progressive Alaskans and their powerful ideas on the web
Clap clap clap!(Or is it honk honk honk?)I love Election Day! I got up and drove the kids around this morning and we waved back at everyone. In a few years (when I don't fear my littlest running into the road) we will wave signs with you! One year I was very pregnant and about to give birth literally any second and kind of hoped to go into labor then. One of the candidates wanted some bagels so I offered to go get them. A couple of guys at the shop were laughing when they saw me-- they'd said that the way I'd been holding the sign that it looked like an arrow proclaiming the bulge to be the responsibility of the candidate whose sign I was waving! ;)
Diane has my vote (or will, in a couple of hours from now). I just can't bring myself to poke the chad for that smarmy little rich boy from San Fran. And the people he's surrounded himself with: uggh. Speaking of which, what ever happened to Drunky McDrunkenfurter (aka Bobby Dillon), who was last seen 'sharing a desk' with Berky 'hos Ivan and Brendan? Maybe the News Minor finally grew standards andshitcanned his sorry shambolic butt.
'Drunky McDrunkenfurter'...heh heh heh. Robert Dillon is just fine. He came out to Alaska to cover the primary, which explains why he left the state last weekend. He's now in DC covering Alaska the way he knows best, which is from a very, very long way away. Does the Miner actually pay him, or does he work for free so he can claim he's 'Alaskan' for PFD (and DC tax avoidance) purposes? Inquiring minds want to know...find out for us, Phil!
@ anon: "Drunky" is back and he's posting again on his blog.@Ghost: No way he's eligible for a PFD, but he's probably selling most of the fish he took Outside to pay his creditors, just like last year.
