Dan Thornton, the first trombone player in the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra, has posted complete recordings of both KPO concerts performed last weekend in Kenai (Friday) and Homer (Saturday).Here's a link to the entire sets of performances. You can listen or download - or do both.
I like the Kenai performance of my Gordon's Last Ride Rag best.
The most polished performance of the sets is the Homer performance of Richard Strauss' Horn Concerto No. 1, with Anthony Cecere performing as French horn soloist.
It is amazing to see how quickly Dan got these well-made recordings up on the web.
