It is about Diane Benson and the "50-State Strategy" of Howard Dean in 2006 - updated for 2008. Many Alaskans are probably unaware (boy, is that probably an understatement!), but Howard Dean and his "50-State Strategy" was trashed again and again back in 2006 and 2007, by Ethan Berkowitz's BFF, Rep. Rahm Emanuel, who wanted to pursue the "border-state strategy," designed to elect fewer, more conservative Democrats to the U.S. House then.
There has been a deafening silence from the left blogosphere by authoritative progressives, speaking up for Ethan Berkowitz's candidacy.
