Judy, Nancy, Kathy and Patty at the Alaska Democratic Party booth at the State Fair in Palmer. Starting to organize the booth. I'm going to be over there tomorrow, cleaning, vacuuming, painting and repainting. A lot of smiles, high-fives and "V" for victory signs from people walking by who were working on their booths.
Schedules of times when candidates for in-state and the U.S. House and Senate seats - both pre-primary and post-primary, will be posted at the Alaska Democratic Party web site events page. I'll try to re-post them here, too.
After we were done, we ate dinner in Palmer. Carolyn Covington, who is headed out Thursday for her trip as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, visited us, helping us figure out details for the fair booth. Carolyn, my wife Judy, Kathy and I all lived in Whittier. We swapped stories, especially King crab stories.
