The other day, I posted the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's incredible rendition of Georg Frideric Handel's Hallelujah Chorus from his seasonal oratorio, The Messiah.
E. Ross at Bent Alaska has posted another over-the-top performance of this, as done by the Boston Gay Men's Chorus. I can't resist. These guys are fantastic. I may even use this version in my music appreciation class at UAA, because it illustrates very well how composers may use just a few words, judiciously repeated, in their choral masterpieces:
