Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, and thanks for all the work you do.

You, too, Phil.

As our family has gotten older (we sibs are all in our 50s and 60s now), we've progressively tried to make our traditional Thanksgiving feast as digestible as possible, and we succeeded this year, featuring a lot of fresh vegetables and fresh turkey.

(I just noticed I used the word progressive in a non-political sense ;D )

Keep up the good work -- yours is one of the blogs I regularly read.

Happy Thanksgiving, Phil to you and your family. Just wanted to hook you up with a great Canadian composer, although since he is closer to you than me, you probably already know him: Stephen Chatman. http://www.drstephenchatman.com/

the problem child,

I know some of Dr. Chatman's work. I performed in his "3 A.M. in the Square" a long, long time ago. I learned his piano pieces "Four Preludes" about 30 years ago. We've never met.
