But I thought it was the evil conservatives who were the only ones "fear-mongering" or was that just another lie from Obama ?

Anonymous (there aren't many trolls who have the b@lls to use their pseudonym) @ 12:20 PM, in your world black is evidently white, up is down, and everything you said can be said of you and yours. It's called "projection", or "distraction", and Fox-bots are easily recognized by it.

The Democrats who are screwing things up for health care reform aren't real Democrats, and a lot of them can look forward to a strong primary challenge in their next run.

Our country is about to pass a Universal Health Care plan. The House has already passed a version. The Senate will pass their version. The substantive debate will not be until the House-Senate committee to resolve differences between the two bills. My expectation is that Democrats will vote as a block to pass a plan. Democrats historically have a pattern of pulling together after lively debate. I do not know whether the public option will survive or not. All of this is part of the cultural change sweeping our nation, as hyperpartisanship goes out of vogue, and as extreme-right evangelical Republicans and the racism that follows them around are driven from the body politic and the public arena by public disapproval. Our country and Anchorage are truly becoming multicultural by the numbers, so the change is inevitable.

I compared Republican & Democratic healthcare plans with links to both proposals at my blog The Unfamiliar.

It's always the tu quoque from you, now isn't it, buddy.

We'll never learn or do anything if we can't find a way to address issues and positions rather than personalities or foibles of either side.

(Go ahead and respond with another tu quoque-that'll confirm you're nothing but a troll.)
