Neklason Lake Transformed

A week ago, I thought Neklason Lake would be unskatable for the remainder of the winter. But three inches of rain in 24 hours, and 85 mph 45-degree F winds, have an amazing transformative power upon 34 inches of ice.

As soon as it dries and cures, I'm going to be out there with my skates, stick, puck and dog.

cool pictures. This lake is the home of Camp Challenge Ministries Youth Camp and Retreat Center. Director Brad Helvey. It is also my summer home and work place. I love the area and central Alaska. It is not at all like my flatland area of Central Indiana (Greenfield). You people live in Paradise!!! jDave Blair dvpblair@comcast.net
