Yikes - back to work in the morning.
This semester, I'll be taking a lot of young UAA students to see the Anchorage Opera's production of Rossini's comedy, The Barber of Seville. Here are two unorthodox versions of the opera's overture. The first one is performed by the King's Singers. The second, by the Beatles:

You missed the best vesion, Bugs Bunny and the Rabbit of Seville, although I'm thinking that this version might be a little to high-brow for your students :)
LoL @ Anonymous 4:45am. I saw this Bugs Bunny version on New Years Day. They showed a marathon of Looney Tunes cartoons and I made my kids watch it. The Rabbit of Seville was the final cartoon of the marathon...I loved it!!!
