Mike Gravel Will Address a Special Edition of the Bartlett Club Today - 2:30 PM

Former Alaska U.S. Senator Mike Gravel will be speaking today at a special edition of the Bartlett Club in Anchorage. He will be appearing at the DeBarr Denny's Restaurant, in the meeting room, at 2:30 p.m.

Mike was on Moore Up North this week, and on Shannyn Moore's Friday radio show on KOAN.

Moore Up North is broadcast every Saturday at 4pm with an encore presentation on Sunday at 9am on KYES Channel 5.

Check out KYES website here.

At Denny's this afternoon, Mike will be sharing his views on September 11th 2001, and the resulting wars and national security state apparatus.

Hope to see you there.

Maybe we'll be able to figure out what this damn thing is on the bottom of the fuselage of Flight 175, as it hurtles toward the World Trade Center:

CORRECTION:

NOTHING as large as what may be there--and I really dont think anything abnormal is there---would have been notice by the preflighting pilot, the ground crew loading baggage and the ground crew helping the aircraft taxi. Tower personnel would have noticed as well.

THIS SHOULD READ: NOTHING AS LARGE.....WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN NOTICED BY TOWER, GROUND CREW, DURING PREFLIGHT.

A second thought flying through my head, and this is not a likely explanation is a cargo pod. Some smaller aircraft have pods underneath but I dont think "heavies" do. This was a very fleeting thought :)

Maybe there is a "heavy" pilot among your readers who can comment.

Maybe a call to National Transportation Satety Board --email the photos-- could help.
