
Below is a clump of dead chives from last year, pushed down by feet of snow that have now melted. We will be harvesting new chives within four weeks.

A couple of Siberian iris seed pods look out over frozen Neklason Lake.

A purple poppy seed pod rises above the last remains of yesterday morning's fresh snow in the middle of the garden.
