Saradise Lost - Book 5 - Chapter 17: Palin Finally Inspires Federal Legislation

A Pennsylvania congressman is being reported as getting ready to introduce a bill that would make it illegal for political whores like Sarah Palin to beg for money with incitements toward violence:

Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa.) reportedly plans to introduce legislation that would make it a federal crime to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a federal official or member of Congress.

Brady told CNN that he wants federal lawmakers and officials to have the same protections against threat currently provided to the president. His call comes one day after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) was shot, along with 19 other people, at a public event in Tucson. A suspect is currently in custody.

"The president is a federal official," Brady told CNN in a telephone interview. "You can't do it to him; you should not be able to do it to a congressman, senator or federal judge."

Among the six people killed was Federal Judge John Roll.

While it is unknown at this time whether the shooter was politically motivated, that has not prevented a vigorous debate about whether heated political rhetoric seen during the healthcare reform debate and during the 2010 campaign is inciting violence.
Palin proudly rode the national wave of increasing political polarization and hatred, much as she had sought to do here in Alaska during her Wasilla mayoral campaign and during the period between the summer of 2008 and her resignation in July, 2009. She's made millions by becoming the poster girl for heated, sometimes masked, sometimes brazenly open hate rhetoric. The money SarahPAC brought in from the ads they took down only yesterday should be turned over to the families of those killed Saturday in Tucson.

Now that Palin's people are attempting to defend her inflammatory hell-raising, Palin needs to be put on the spot, to actually defend such remarks as this:

Sarah's FB, dated March 28, 2010 — three days after the crosshair image was published:

“In the battle, set your sights on next season’s targets! From the shot across the bow – the first second’s tip-off – your ………leaders will be in the enemy’s crosshairs, so you must execute strong defensive tactics. You won’t win only playing defense, so get on offense! The crossfire is intense, so penetrate through enemy territory by bombing through the press, and use your strong weapons – your Big Guns – to drive to the hole. Shoot with accuracy; aim high and remember it takes blood, sweat and tears to win.”

It would be just to have this bill, inspired by Palin's sick fundraising tool, to be named after Christina Green.

Arizona Shootings: 'It Was a Colossal Failure of Journalism'

There is no evidence that Loughner was a Sarah Palin fan. There is no evidence that he was associated with the Tea Party or that he was concerned with immigration. Instead, there is a steadily growing heap of evidence that Jared Loughner was suffering from a mental illness, quite possibly paranoid schizophrenia. One of Loughner's classmates in high school and community college, Caitie Parker, voided much of the baseless media speculation with a few Twitter messages Saturday afternoon. Parker, herself a liberal, said Laughner was "a really good friend," whom she described as having been "left wing," "a political radical" and...

Ask yourself, if a 15 year old high school student posted a map with names and addresses of classmates, teachers and the principal of his high school with crosshairs, what would be the reaction?

Expulsion? Suspension?

Adults do this.

Is it any wonder why 6 Carson Nevada girls post an 'Attack a Teacher' invite on Facebook.

Is this where it starts?

We saw where it ended yesterday?

Unbelievable: Democrat Group Using Gifford’s Shooting For Fundraiser!

An extreme, left-wing Democrat group calling itself 21st Century Democrats has had the gall to send out an email blast using as a fundraising tool Saturday’s criminal shooting of Representative Gabrielle Giffords in Arizona. Judge John Roll and four others were killed in the incident, one of them a 9-year-old girl, but these Democrats are ignorant enough to be using this incident to try and squeeze donations from its supporters. Some might think the action of 21st Century Democrats is itself a crime — a crime against decency. The email blast sent out Sunday morning to its supporters tells members...

If that law was restricted to politicians and members of law enforcement, sure. But you know it's going to be used on ordinary citizens and the free press, while the protected members of our society do as they please.

Palin has repeatedly stated she doesn't believe in coincidence. We finally agree on something as I find it unbelievable to think of Saturday's shooting as coincidence. I would have to believe that one of two politicians she targeted who were re-elected was "coincidentally" shot by a man whose motivations remain unknown to this day.

Palin was not intentionally attempting to have these representatives shot by placing gun sights next to their name. But it was argued at the time the ad was revealed that it was quite provocative when seen in its entirety. When mentally ill people see these ads, they may or may not react to them 100% of the time. However if they are never available to be viewed, they will never be seen.

Palin's silence in regards to the issue speaks volumes, especially when she has never been known to be the silent type prior to this.
