Fred James is Happy

My longtime friend, Fred James, is extremely happy:

Here he is last week, at Mount Vernon's ongoing (April 1 - 30) Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Fred and I got started in blogging together, when we put up the blog USA vs. Victor H. Kohring, in October 2007. Fred is valiantly fighting prostate cancer, and appears to be WINNING!

Fred is a longtime Ron Paul supporter, so he must be pumped that Rep. Paul is doing quite well in recent polls:

2012 - Obama 42% --- Paul 41%

SRLC straw poll
:

Romney --- 439
Paul --- 438
Palin --- 330
Gingrich --- 321

Paul is one of the favorites many of the non-Evangelical people involved in the Tea Party. On April 15th, 2009, when I polled 30 people attending the Wasilla Lake Tea Party event, here were the results:

13 Libertarians
9 non-partisan
6 Republicans
2 Alaska Independence Party

I'm hoping to be freed from work long enough to attend this Thursday's similar event at Wasilla Lake. Here's Rep. Paul, taking a very strong stand against continuing violations of our constitution and international law by Obama:

Saw this interesting poll this morning:
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2012/election_2012_barack_obama_42_ron_paul_41

Of course, I doubt that we'll ever see the RNC or the neocon theocrats support Ron Paul. But it does give me some hope that maybe someone will think outside the box...

Cheers,
Chris

By the way, thanks for sharing the local straw poll data. Interesting results. Doesn't sound like neocon theocrats to me.

Chris,

I hope to poll them again Thursday, at the Fed building in ANC at noon, and at the Newcomb Park at 4:00.
