We'll Miss You, Bones!

Friend of peace and mender of bodies and souls, Roger Ranch, died early today from injuries sustained yesterday when his mobile home in South Anchorage caught fire. He leaves many friends.

Needless to say, this loss is shocking and saddening to many in the Southcentral Alaska progressive community, and in Bethel, where he worked for many years as a physician's assistant.

Many of Roger's friends are leaving tributes on facebook. Here's Linda Kellen Biegel's:
To a man who never hesitated to give his last dollar, spend that extra hour or use his last bit of energy on a cause or person he believed in...rest well, my friend. We'll continue the fight in your honor.

It's a very sad day for our community. Roger was such a unique person with such a big heart. It just won't be the same without him.

I'm also saddened by this news. Roger was a dedicated and brilliant Bethel PA. He will be missed.
