Sarah Palin - "If You See a Revolutionary War Vet, Thank Him for Our Freedoms!"

Actually, she didn't say that, but I'm sure she said something equally ridiculous and uninformed.

Actually, the bits think she is going to announce today, and they are going to be VERY disappointed if she doesn't make their day!

I totally believed she said it.

Actually what Sarah mean to say was, Thank a Civil War Vet for your freedom. Palins poll numbers keep dropping but why do her Facebook numbers keep going up?

"Actually what Sarah mean to say was, Thank a Civil War Vet for your freedom, especially the ones who wore gray."

This is a poor attempt to spin what she said by a Progressive Liberal.
We all know how Obama depends on that Teleprompt. There is a reason for that. Its because he screws up without it.
I’m no fan of Palin and I am an Alaskan conservative. But she is not the idiot this Progressive is trying to portray. I do respect Palin I just don’t think she’s qualified for the white house in any role. She lacks the experience in global political matters. But then, so did Obama and look where that got us.

What's the most interesting to me about all this "freedom" rhetoric is that Sarah Palin (and perhaps the majority of Americans) have no idea what freedoms and rights there are for citizens in other countries.

Actually. Really. NO. Idea.

I believe that Americans cling to stunning misconceptions that EVERYWHERE else on the planet, there is an absence of freedoms, human rights, "constitutional" guarantees.
The fact is that some countries have greater "freedoms" and rights as citizens than America does.

I agree, we Americans do cling to the "freedom" narrative like we cling to our guns. I honestly think if more Americans traveled they would be shocked to experience how other countries that we Americans think are in need of our "help" are doing economically and socially.
