Riki Ott on the Growing Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico - Updated

Democracy Now had a long segment this morning, on the out-of-control oil spill that is sliming the Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama coasts. It features an interview with Riki Ott. Part One: Part Two: Here's a photo of containment booms, washed up on a Louisiana beach:
Update - 10:45 a.m: The Alaska Dispatch has dispatched Craig Medred to the Gulf coast. I'll find out who Riki Ott will be filing reports with, while she is down there, and post that info as part of a later update.

No posts on the attempted bombing in New York? I bet you would be blogging about it like a mad man if it had been some white guy though! Especially if he had attended any recent Tea Party events.
