Anchorage educator, Jazz innovator and saxophone virtuoso, Rick Zelinsky, performed with the University of Alaska Anchorage's Wind Ensemble earlier this month in the ensemble's "Fall Tour," where we gave presentations at several high schools from Kenai to Anchorage, under the baton of Dr. Mark Wolbers.
Rick performed one of the most solid and challenging compositions in the repertoire for alto saxophone and winds, German-American composer Bernhard Heiden's Diversions.
