Who Will Palin Endorse?

This picture says so much.

If I promise to pay Don Young's legal bills for the next five weeks, do you think he'd let me photograph him hugging his favorite candidate, Hillary Clinton? Forget it! I couldn't afford to pay his weekly legal bills, let alone monthly, quarterly or overall. Besides, he has other people willing to do it for him.

In return for what? I'm contemplating going through the list of Alaskans who contributed to Young's campaign fund last year after the word came out about how much money was going to his lawyers from that fund. I'll call it the "dumber that posts" list. The list isn't very long, though.

Down in Seattle today, Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire endorsed - and hugged - Senator Barack Obama at a huge campaign rally at the Seattle Center's KeyArena, where I used to watch Fred Brown, Slick Watts and Spencer Heywood play basketball.

The ADN's Sean Cockerham says "Republican Gov. Sarah Palin said she won't make an endorsement until she can speak to McCain."

Maybe she should spend a few minutes with Don Young, comparing the relative merits of Hillary Clinton and Mike Huckabee first.
