Sen. Lisa Murkowski Voted Against Stimulus Package Swine Flu Research Funds

Looks like a small price to pay if the outbreak gets worse, causing schools, businesses, travel, hotels, malls, and other public events and spaces to shut down. Mexico is losing an estimated $57 million per day.
The shortsightedness of the Republican party never ceases to amaze me.
I just sent Murkowski a letter because I had been very ill with a flu-like virus for over 2 weeks and called the public health offices who seem quite inept. Why I expected anything else I do not know.
Sorry,not to defend her - I understand several Senators stripped it from the stimulus bill however much of the money was approved in a later budget bill. Does anyone know how she voted on the 2nd Bill?
