Spreading the word about the growing presence of progressive Alaskans and their powerful ideas on the web
"McCain was in the lead for 2 weeks after he picked Palin."TRANSLATION: Then she opened her mouth to Katie Couric.Ooooops.Was that a bug squash I heard?
"and the she opened her mouth."You can stop right there, Basheert! It was a painful ride.
..and THIS from The FIXX via Washington Post. Winners and Losers of Obama's First 100 Days!! Guess who leads the Pack?????LOSERSSarah Palin: The Alaska governor has struggled mightily to balance her national ambitions with her current job. From the "she's is/she's out" mishandling of her attendance at a Republican party event is Washington to the decision by her fundraiser to step aside, the first 100 days have been an unmitigated disaster for the former vice presidential nominee. (And that's without even mentioning the whole Levi Johnston debacle for which we give Palin, a mother first, something of a pass.) Palin is rapidly becoming the butt of jokes among GOP operatives; she may not care but remember how powerful the chattering class is in the Invisible Primary. To win her party's nomination in 2012, Palin need to recruit some top tier talent and, right now, she would struggle to convince anyone at that level to sign on.
basheert,Ouch! This may be the beginning of her new narrative.
They embrace. They laugh. They forget. She should have left after the VP run and gotten a talk show when she was at the height of her popularity.I hurt for her. She got the taste of power and fame and now it will mock her and pursue her for the rest of her life. She will never settle down with the fam to take care of the kids after this.
