A lot of balloons might be popping for Uncle Ted today. It is November 18th, Ted Stevens' 85th birthday.Meanwhile, today and tomorrow might pop whatever balloons are left in Ted's political future, both in Alaska and in Washington, DC.
Happy 85th Birthday, Sen. Stevens. May your 86th birthday find you healthy, retired and free!
And Time Magazine has announced that Sarah Palin is one of their 25 nominees for 2008 Person of the Year.
You can vote for Sarah or any of the others there. As of this writing, she is in second place behind Barack Obama.

I saw this Time poll last night and was disgusted. Who would have thought that Time would select person of the year from an internet poll?
It also looks like her fan base is refreshing and voting over and over again. Nice...
If she wins...I may never read Time again.

I'm curious to know how many Progessive Alaskans voted for Uncle Ted the convicted felon. I don't particularly think he belongs in jail, but I do feel that Senate can work quite well without criminals (convicted ones) in their midst.
