Shannyn Moore on Today's Democracy Now, Regarding Our Vote Count Today Through Friday

Alaskans should realize that counting over 90,000 votes in Alaska today and Friday, is the same as if California was counting about 3.7 million votes on these days.

Click here to go to Democracy Now's interview with Alaska journalist and media commentator Shannyn Moore's interview with Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez. The interview starts at 30 minutes.

I used to really like Shannon, but this is zero-cred whoring. What happened to her? Ethan must have promised her a sweet job for this kind of nonsense.

There's no evidence of any election being 'stolen', yet she keeps beating the 'fraud' drum as a suggogate for sore loser Ethan. Yuk.

This should all be over by tonight, thank God.

heidi (heh)

Moore does not say the vote has been stolen, in this report, in the Rachel Maddow appearance, or in her widely circulated article from the beginning of the week. But, unlike some other commentators on this election, she isn't entirely ruling out manipulation of the vote.

You criticize Moore, make up some stuff about a job possibility with a candidate, and then what....?

And then what?

The remaining votes are counted. Mark possibly wins, Ethan probably loses, Shannon looks stupid for shouting fraud and Alaska loses a promising talent, discredited as a card carrying member of the whining milk toast tin foil troop.

I don't think she looks stupid for voicing her opinion. People who put too much into one person's opinion look stupid.

Shannon Moore is great and so are you--I called from Arizona 6 months ago to the Demo. Party headquarters, and they recommended this blog and Andrew Halcro--What a great find. I do not begin to understand what is going on, but the voting process there is just--different. Whatever, Sen. Stevens should retire, his time and ideas have passed. We are all tired of arrogance--like Gov. Palins. She is living in her own fantacy world, where she forgets the facts, and spins off interviews and pretends those facts do not exist.
Love all you do, and keep up the fine work.

In our democracy, questioning the integrity of the vote is an act of constitutional patriotism.

The questions and historical information that Shannyn brought up are legitimate and based in fact, unlike your reasoning, Heidi.

So the blog from November 6 entitled "Stolen Election in Alaska ?" isn't really about a stolen election ?

you guys kill me.

Whose that hot chick hangin with that old fella?

tiresome anon @ #8 - the blog from November 6th asks a question. It leaves it up to you to try to decide whether not not the election was manipulated through the computer system.

Ms. Moore, by asking that question - which has been an open one here since the 2004 Knowles - L. Murkowski race - is not stating that theft has occurred. She is asking us to monitor the vote counting process as closely as possible, looking at every possible aspect of the process.

Duh....

oh, thanks for explaining that to me.

now the ADN is reporting record turn out.
