A New String of Progressive Victories in the Mat-Su Valley Yesterday

We voted yesterday in the Mat-Su Valley. The overall votes here were covered this morning by the Anchorage Daily News and the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman.

Most exciting to me, as a Mat-Su Valley progressive, was the sound trouncing of the Tuckerman Babcock-inspired, well-funded (although the source - MEA funds - was highly questionable), and maliciously false effort by the Babcock-Carter-Carmony clique to derail a recent Mat-Su Borough ordinance, mandating Borough approval of any large plower plant designs before they can be built.

Once again, the efforts of Utility Watch and the MEA Ratepayers Alliance are paying off for Mat-Su area residents.

School and road improvement bonds also passed.
