Down To the Wire - DONATE! - Yesterday's Mat-Su Democrats Egan Dinner

If one picture can be worth a thousand words, then one great skit can be worth over $1,000.

Yesterday's Mat-Su Democrats' monthly Egan Dinner saw Nancy Guiley and Gini King-Taylor playing Sarah Palin and Katie Couric, in a hilarious take on Wasilla's favorite dim bulb. Nancy has the fake hand gestures, fake Minna Soda accent, fake wink, fake chumminess, fake answers, and other fake Sarah stuff down. Nancy and Gini were genuine. They could take their show on the road, folks.

A film crew from Belgium got it all down. They also interviewed several Mat-Su Democrats, through the meeting.
Washington Independent investigative journalist, Laura McGann, was there, too, visiting a Democratic Party event in the heart of Sarah's home territory, before McGann embarks on a stint, flying around the country with Sarah Palin.

We started final organizing for several local campaigns, and heard from
Nancy Lethcoe, whose District 12 barely touches the Mat-Su area, with the Sutton, Sheep Mountain and Farm Loop Road precincts. Nancy is running against corrupt bastard club charter member, John Harris, for his Alaska House seat.

Nancy and Gini were so outrageously funny, they helped us raise over $1,000 last night!
