A Spectacular October Day

It got up to 60 degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon at our place near Wasilla. I spent most of the afternoon finishing off work on patching and restoring my shop roof. But I took a break at about 4:00 to photograph some of the garden flowers in the afternoon sunshine.

Rosehips:

Broccoli flowers:

Snow pea flowers (they're still producing peas):

Italian Parsley getting ready to (maybe) flower:

Arugula flowers - they taste nutty and are very aromatic:

Pansies and chive flowers:

This weather is simply amazing. I loved today's clarity - no haze. :)
