I do not hate Israel, but I do hate what they are doing to the Palestinians. Withholding water and food supplies, killing children on their way to school, bombing settlements, and treating people as if it were the Holocaust and they were the Germans is neither humane, nor right. Sarah might want to find out what is relaly going on over there before she supports this 'ally' unconditionally. This country receives more of our money than any other, has nuclear weapons, and acts like the worst kind of bully to a group of people who want nothing more than land to call their own....land that was taken from them. Of course, Sarah is a bully herself, so it's no wonder she sides with them instead of helping find a peacful solution.
The Palestinians have rejected a two State solution and refuse to recognize Israel"s right to exists as a country.
The Palestinians could have a peaceful solution tomorrow. But Hamas, who controls Palestine, is hell bent on Israel's destruction.
The Arab States who support Hamas realize that mid-east conflicts result in higher prices per barrel of oil. the oil producing MidEast States are using and supporting an Israeli/Palestinian conflict to pump up their oil profits.
"The Palestinians have rejected a two State solution and refuse to recognize Israel"s right to exists as a country."
-- the Palestinians have rejected a system of Bantustans that would leave them with no integrated way to build a strong economy. Wouldn't you reject that?
"The Palestinians could have a peaceful solution tomorrow. But Hamas, who controls Palestine, is hell bent on Israel's destruction."
-- The PA refuses to negotiate over how to divide a pie that the Isralis continue to eat as the negotiations would proceed. Wouldn't you?
Hamas controls Gaza, not the West Bank. As Al Jazeera's "Palestine Papers" clearly showed last year, the Israelis have rejected generous Palestinian offers that had been - until the Papers' publication, kept secret. Netanyahu has bragged about derailing any possibility of the Oslo Accords being implemented.
"The Arab States who support Hamas realize that mid-east conflicts result in higher prices per barrel of oil."
--- reality shows this claim to be untrue, all too often. For instance the Mubarak family and their cronies were getting rich by selling natural gas to Isra3l - AT A LOSS to the nation of Egypt.
"the oil producing MidEast States are using and supporting an Israeli/Palestinian conflict to pump up their oil profits."
-- that may be true sometimes, but resolution of the I/P conflict has been proposed by the Saudis, two years ago, in a package that the Israelis have rejected.
"Follow the money."
-- I do. So do a lot of blogs concerned about how campaign finance works in our politics.

I like Ron Paul, but he is wrong on Israel.
Good for Sarah Palin. She may not be presidential material but she is right on this one.
If you hate Israel then you probably hate Sarah Palin too.
Phil,
take the 'no more sarah palin pledge'. she has nothing to add to the discussion-nothing.
