Phil Donahue on Ron Paul's Anti-War Stance
Go back to early 2003. Phil Donahue had the most popular program on MSNBC. He opposed the Iraq War, which hadn't been started yet, but had been decided upon - by the US military, the US government, and was being thoroughly enabled by the US media establishment, including NBC. Donahue then, like Ron Paul now, was the only visibly prominent voice for sanity in American public affairs. NBC fired him.
