The kids are in Seward for the weekend. Alex's band, Static Cycle, is playing two performances, and both Julia and Alex have a lot of friends who ran in the race. Judy and I hiked up from Summit Lake at Hatcher Pass, late this afternoon. Oh, yeah - we took the dog, Strider.

The wildflowers were out

Strider is always looking for Marmots

This is looking toward Government Peak, to our south from the ridge system we traversed
