I'm playing in the University of Alaska Wind Ensemble today at Kenai High School. I'll be on the road until late this evening. Judy and I attended Carmen last night, with over 100 students of mine. One of my favorite scenes in the Anchorage Opera production, was the "card scene," with local singers Stasia Jamieson and Marlene Bateman:
