It was a hard June and early July for our vegetable garden. The greenhouse did better. But summer has finally warmed enough and given it adequate sun. It is still far behind last year, but the crops that generally do well in Alaska are now coming into fullness.

Hey, take some of that fennel, chop it up, and stuff it into a pork loin and roast it. Think of me while you're eating it.
