Saradise Lost - Book 5 - Chapter 86 - The Final Chapter
I created this image back on January 19th, right after Palin's "blood libel" comments. A fitting image for saying "goodby!' to this series of posts.

Don't jinx yourself, Phil, I am having a hard time believing that she is stepping out. She is still a megalomaniac who has tasted fame and had people giver her money for doing nothing. I hope this is her last stand, but now she is still in Wasilla and we all have to deal with her.
Thank you, Joe Guinness, for whatever role you played in this. And Phil, and Griffin, and Mr. Dunn, and Ms. Tripp. . . and Levi. . . and all the people who were tossed under the bus who refused to let it drop!
Yes, that is a fitting photo of the gun-toting Mrs. Palin. The first time I saw her fake narrative was in 2006 when she was on a 4-wheeler charging through a stream. It was on her 2006 gubernatorial website. Being a coastal Alaska fisherman I was pretty pissed off. Mucking up a stream with a 4-wheeler in Alaska is a pretty disgusting act. It said and was meant to say a lot about Mrs. Palin’s view of the environment. I am glad to see her 15 minutes are up.
She says that her family comes first so she won't run for Pres. Really? If only half of what Joe M said in his book is true about the way she treats her family, then she is one, sick puppy. I feel sorry for the whole lot of 'em.
I'm with you, Phil. If Mrs Palin's issue really was "family", she would have announced from her yard in Wasilla (teleprompters, quacking ducks, honking geese and looning loons notwithstanding) with her "family" arranged behind her: said "family" consisting of Track, who wants no part of her shenigans; Bristol and Willow, who are busy in L.A. filming a reality TV show; Piper, whom she dragged around the country so much that even the Palinutz wondered why the child was never in school; and Trig, who, although he cannot speak, plays computer games on his iPad; not forgetting, of course, He-Man Handbag-toting Husband of Sarah. Dud and Piper standing there on their own would have given the truth away in a second ...
I'm betting that Lawrence O'Donnell was right on the money months ago when he stated with conviction that she wouldn't attempt a run; he knew what Roger Ailes knew: she had no intention of running.
I hope she's done, but I suspect she's just licking her wounds and plotting her next move. It would be perfect if Ailes drops her; she has bashed everyone else in the media and will find a home only on Beck's radio show...whoopee. She has also criticized every single GOP candidate, so no VP slot for her. And since she refuses to debate or hold a press conference, or do anything that might show the world her stupidity, she is not running 3rd party either. Plus, that takes way more money than she will contribute herself, or she can raise. I do think she is not done, but a few weeks sans Palinesque word saalds will be lovely.

She has no power. Roger Ailes knows that, too.
What everyone said. Thanks, Phil, for your part in ending this political career that should never have begun.
