Leave it to FAUX News to peg Sen. McCain for what Don Young already knew him to be - a Democrat!
from the ADN's comment pages today on Romney's campaign suspension:
"I will never work for John McCain. Ever. I may support Hillary Clinton if he gets the nomination, when I get out of prison" Young told an audience at a Palmer Rotary luncheon last year.
GOP picks another loser. Alaska Republicans are great at choosing losers. The Murkowski's, The Stevens', Young, Reudrich, Ogdan, Anderson, Kott, Kohring, Green, Harris, etc. Let me guess, next they'll choose Huckabee. Now there's a winner. LOL
Ron Paul is going to win this thing. The American people are too good. We're not a bunch of underachievers.
I found the following item, in Erika Bolstad and Sean Cockerham's ADN article, interesting:
"[Paul] Bauer feared some Alaska Republicans might not participate in the November election rather than vote for McCain. Lowering Alaska Republican turnout could hurt the re-election chances of Stevens, Congressman Don Young and statehouse Republicans who would share the November ballot with McCain."
I was thinking the same thing, Paul. You're probably more disturbed about this than I am, though.
And GOP Alaska strategery genius Randy Ruedrich summed up his grasp of reality, as Cockerham describes it: "Ruedrich wasn't ready to concede that McCain would be the party nominee, saying there are states yet to vote."
