David Coombs' First Bradley Manning Press Conference


I'll be writing more about what came out during last week's hearings at Ft. Meade, when I get the time to get around to it this week.

One thing that is obvious, though, is that when Sen. Mark Begich looked into Manning's treatment back in 2010, at the request of a number of constituents, he was lied to.  Whoever lied to Sen. Begich violated 18 USC § 1001. To do that is a serious crime, punishable by up to eight years in prison.
