erin and hig at UAA Tuesday Evening

erin and hig, the trekkers who have journeyed from Seattle to Anchorage by foot, pack raft and skis, on their way to Unimak Island, without any assistance from motorized transport - either for themselves or for food drops or other help - will be giving a multimedia presentation at the University of Alaska Anchorage Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m.

They'll be presenting at the recital hall in the Fine Arts Building on the eastern edge of campus.
Visual artist and photographer Mariano Gonzales, head of the UAA Art Department is sponsoring the event, which I'm producing. Alaska Pacific University professor and renowned adventurer Roman Dial will introduce erin and hig.

Their presentation is free, and you can park in the Fine Arts Building parking lot FOR FREE. I put that in upper case because people are wary of the UAA campus parking police.

They'll be on the air Thursday afternoon (please note the change from Monday to Thursday) at 3:30 p.m. with Aaron Selbig on KUDO-AM 1080, and on KRUA-FM 88.1 later in the week - probably Friday afternoon.
Nobody has ever done before what these two have already done. And they're not quite two-thirds the way toward their goal. I can't stress enough how unique and interesting this presentation will be, folks.
